I’m Ali Casboult, pet portrait Artist

Hi! I am an award winning artist living and working from my home in Geelong, Australia. I have fallen in love with coloured pencils, especially Prismacolor Premiers, and now specialise in detailed and realistic drawings.

My work mainly consists of hand drawn pet portraits. I have always loved animals, especially dogs and horses, so drawing them brings me so much happiness.

I have completed pet portraits for clients in the UK, Germany and throughout Australia.

In 2018, I was featured in the GT magazine (Geelong Advertiser), I became a member of the Coloured Pencil Community of Australasia, I am a member of Geelong Illustrators and appeared in the Surf Coast Living magazine. I am also representing the art community in an upcoming Worksafe Campaign focusing on mental health and well-being.

I won two first prizes at the Royal Geelong Show, and was a finalist in the “My Home, Australia” Art Competition in February 2019.

I have also exhibited my work at the Cuckoos Nest Book store, Judy Churnside Florist, Ryrie 101 Art Gallery, Zen Cafe & Bakery and Bread Brothers Baking Co.

The best part of drawing to me is making people smile! Nothing is more satisfying than seeing someone’s reaction when they see a portrait of their beloved pet.
